Remediation Technology

Prior to working with Regenox, RSI Drilling will obtain the product's MSDS information from Regenesis. All personnel working with the product will be required to use all necessary personal protective equipment while handling the material. As with any RSI Drilling project safety is our top priority.

Upon arrival to the jobsite RSI will situate the rig and injection system appropriate for the site. The working areas will be secured and safety equipment including first aid kits and eye wash stations will be put in place.

Once the desired quantities of the injection material have been transferred into the injection delivery system, RSI will adapt expendable injection points or pressure activated injection probes to the injection rods to be advanced to the injection interval. Injection rods vary from 1" to 4" in diameter. Rod size selection will depend on desired quantities, depths, and subsurface conditions. The most commonly used injection rods for direct push rigs are 1.5" in diameter.

Upon reaching the injection interval the drive cap is removed and the injection cap is attached to the rods. The injection hoses and gauges are then attached from the cap to the injection delivery system (pump).

Delivery rates of injection materials can range between as little as one gallon per minute up to 3.5 gallons per minute with the GS2000 injection system. This process will be repeated until the desired amounts of the injection material are delivered into the subsurface.

Upon completion of injection RSI will abandon each boring to the surface and restore surface conditions to its original state.

Additional injection procedures and techniques are available upon request.
