Geoprobe® 5400

The workhorse of the Geoprobe family, this direct push rig accepts most Geoprobe rods and tooling. Lateral movement of the unit provides for offset placement of the probe without moving the carrier vehicle. The 5400 has 25,000 pounds of pulling power, a 54-inch stroke, and is equipped with a GH40 Soil Probing Hammer. This rig is great for the collecting shallow surface soil, vapor, and water samples where the power of rig is not needed.
