RSI drilling provides a complete line of environmental drilling services. RSI is experienced in Direct push technology geoprobe, Hollow Stem Auger, single-tube or dual-tube sampling as well as discrete soil, soil gas, and water “hydropunch” sampling. RSI has recently purchased the latest in geoprobe line, the 804DT, the new track and track mounted compact sonic rigs as well as five new Geoprobe 6600’s. In addition, RSI has two Geoprobe 5400’s, two AMS powerprobe HSA/DPT combo rigs and two SME-75 high torque HSA rigs. Two of the new Geoprobe rigs are 6620DT tracking rigs, and one of the Geoprobes is a 420m Limited access rig, which fits through interior doors.
Some of the benefits of RSI's compact sonic rigs include true continuous soil sampling that provides nearly undisturbed continuous cores with little or no IDW, the advancement of drill casing to over a 200’, and the construction of wells from ¾” to 4” in diameter. It is quieter making it great for use in residential neighborhoods. These rigs are excellent for remedial injection as the can get the rods into the earth quickly.
