Derrik Sandberg President

Derrik is responsible for the overall management of the company including marketing, cost estimating, proposal preparation, contracts, and client relations. Derrik has been in the Environmental industry for over 10 years. Prior to RSI, Derrik held similar duties at another drilling firm where he led the company in record sales and profitability and expanded offices into new markets. He has also worked in marketing/management/ and technical capacities for NORCAL Geophysical Consultants, Western Geophysical, and as a consultant throughout the United States, Europe and South America.

Derrik has a B.Sc. in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, Golden, CO, and a Masters in International Management from the American Graduate School of Business, Glendale, AZ. With his background in earth sciences and management, clients can depend on his understanding of the subsurface drilling conditions as well as his sensitivity and creativity to client issues when discussing specific site approaches.

Don Winglewich Vice President

Don is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field and shop operations including the Direct Push and Sonic drilling projects. Don continues to contribute innovative improvements to the Sonic and DPT rigs. Don has over 14 years experience in the environmental drilling industry. In his career he has been instrumental in the design and building of many of the DPT rigs that are in use today.

Don is a Licensed Contractor and Driller for multiple states and is responsible for all well installations. He was instrumental in the first installations of the Continuous Multi-Channel (CMT) wells and has a natural talent for overcoming challenging subsurface field conditions. When you work with Don, you are assured that he fully understands your client needs for specific field protocol and getting the job done right.
